Our Mission

New Horizons Home Care was created from lived experience.
As a registered nurse and a mother of two children with special needs, I understand firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate care systems, services, and advocacy while simply trying to be a parent.

Our mission is to support families by providing reliable, compassionate, and compliant home-based care—while empowering parents to remain active participants in their child’s care. We believe families deserve both professional guidance and genuine understanding, because care works best when it honors the whole family.

At New Horizons, we walk alongside families every step of the way.
We specialize in care models that prioritize familiarity and continuity. When eligible, we work with families to hire parents, guardians, or other trusted caregivers as paid providers. All caregivers complete required onboarding and training and are supported to ensure services are delivered responsibly and in alignment with program guidelines.

Our approach is rooted in structure, guidance, and respect for each family’s unique needs. By combining program-based services with a family-centered philosophy, we help create care plans that promote stability, dignity, and long-term support at home.
